Larry and Kathy Boyle had faith and courage to start a business at the age of 50, transforming a small store in Elsmere, KY, into the renowned jewelry store that Boyle Jewelers is today.
The next generation
2004
After years of dedication, Larry and Kathy Boyle decided to retire, passing the torch to the next generation. Their daughter Colleen purchased the jewelry business, ensuring it remains a cherished family legacy.
Today
2024
Colleen continues to run the business today, working alongside her two daughters: Jennifer, the sales manager, and Caitlin, a JA-certified goldsmith. At 87, her father Larry still works at the jeweler's bench. Boyle Jewelers is not only family-owned and operated but also predominantly women-run, with Larry being the only man on the team.
